CheckandPack BV processes your personal data because you use our services and/or because you provide it to us yourself. Below you will find an overview of the personal data that we process.

Special and/or sensitive personal data that we process
Our website and/or service does not intend to collect data about website visitors who are younger than 16 years of age, unless they have permission from parents or guardians. However, we cannot check whether a visitor is older than 16 years of age. We therefore advise parents to be involved in the online activities of their children, in order to prevent data about children being collected without parental consent. If you are convinced that we have collected personal information about a minor without that consent, please contact us atinfo@checkandpack.com, we will delete this information.

For what purpose and on what basis we process personal data
CheckandPack BV processes your personal data to support you in the preparation and stay during your holiday. We do this by (by means of):

• A custom-generated checklist for your vacation with items and to-do's that need to be taken or done;
• A tool that allows you to keep notes;
• A tool that allows you to keep track of your holiday expenses;
• A tool with which you can plan/track your route;
• A tool that allows you to backup your photos or important documents;
• Informing about important calamities at your holiday destination;
• Informing you about important legal changes regarding your holiday;
• Informing you about important matters regarding the departure for your holiday;
• Providing specific assistance via email with the preparation of your holiday;
• Providing specific offers that may be relevant to you;
• Subscribe to the newsletter of XPLRR, a newsletter managed by CheckandPack with
• the aim of providing you with relevant offers and travel-related information;
• Subscribe to the newsletter of Travdeals.nl, a newsletter managed by CheckandPack with the aim of offering you relevant offers in the field of travel;
• We only send partner e-mails via CheckandPack, XPLRR and Travdeals.nl if you have given permission for this. We then use your data to send information and offers from third parties about their products and services. Permission is given in the registration procedure on the CheckandPack website. If you want to withdraw your permission for these partner emails, you can always do so via an unsubscribe link at the bottom of every email you receive.
• Sign up for OMG third-party partner mailings on behalf of CheckandPack;
• In addition, data relating to e-mail marketing is stored. This concerns data relating to the sending, opening and clicking of e-mails.

Automated decision-making
CheckandPack BV makes decisions based on automated processing on matters that can have (significant) consequences for people. These are decisions taken by computer programs or systems, without involving a person (for example an employee of CheckandPack BV). CheckandPack BV uses the following computer programs or systems:

• Google - We use various products from Google to understand the behavior of our users. We have set up Google in such a way that data is passed on anonymously.
• ActiveCampaign - With this system we send emails and store whether users have read these emails or not.
• MySQL - In our MySQL database we store relevant data that makes it possible to make predictions. In this way we are able to adapt our product to our users as well as possible.

How long we keep personal data
With us, users have the option to cancel their account themselves. This ends the storage of data and we delete all user data. Every year we inform users about the ownership of their account and we give the option to cancel their account. We store browsing history for 14 months. This data is stored anonymously.
